After moving to Evansville from the Chicago area, I attended Evansville Day School. I played varsity soccer and volleyball, received the MVP Award in soccer as a senior, and graduated in 1993. I enjoyed the close-knit atmosphere, but looked forward to moving on to the University of Evansville. There I earned a bachelor's degree in Special Education K-12. I graduated in December of 1996 with honors: magna cum laude and six semesters of the Dean's List. In the spring of 1997, I was lucky to land a position with EVSC as an itinerant teacher at Central and North High Schools. For the last four years, I have been teaching Earth Science and Life Science to sophomores, juniors, and seniors at Central High School. Each year in the fall I have enjoyed coaching Unified Volleyball. I am also happy to be a sponsor for the class of 2003. I plan to complete my master's degree in the summer of 2002.
